The 69th National Film Awards were originally scheduled for May 3, 2022, but due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was postponed. The winners were announced on August 24, 2023, by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and presented on October 17th, 2023.
